Stay at the foot of the cross

There were a lot of people at the cross on the day Jesus was crucified. These people were in great agony and mourning the death of their master teacher Jesus. As we go through life and it seems as though you want to throw in the towel, think about what these people saw and endured while they watched their leader die per say. We know Jesus gave up the ghost. Have you ever thought of his mother Mary? The pain of seeing the one you birthed tortured. But she stayed right there, how many of us would have run away saying I can’t take it, “My Baby Boy”. When you hear the saying endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ 2 Timothy 2:3, Mary should come to mind. How many of us can stay the test of time. How many of us are kneeled at the cross prostrate waiting to see what will become of our savior. How many run into shipwrecks at the foot of the cross because self wants to steer the ship. Stay connected to the ones that will not leave or hide in adversity. You will reap a harvest if you faint not. Faint not at the diagnosis, Jesus got you and got up, scripture says we are more than conquerors through him that loved us Romans 8:37. I repeat we are more than conquerors; conquerors go in and they take captive or destroy anything in their pathways. We must claim our healing, claim our children back from the world, take authority over that situation that’s making us stuck. Now that you are at the foot of the cross look up. Who do you see Jesus! God is not dead he is yet alive. God sent his Son, and he gave his life, look up, get up and acknowledge your risen King!
